Sometimes you just want to know how your child is reading right now. Other times, you need a deeper understanding of what you're seeing and what should happen next.
Reading Foundations offers both.
Reading Benchmark Snapshot — $50
A straightforward look at how your child is reading right now.
This option includes an individual reading benchmark, identification of your child’s current reading level or instructional range when appropriate, and a brief review of what I observed. You’ll receive the benchmark findings to keep.
This may be a good fit if you’re wondering:
Where is my child reading right now? Are there areas I should be concerned about? Does my child appear to need additional reading support?
This option does not include an individualized intervention plan or detailed written recommendations.
Comprehensive Reading Assessment + Plan — $120
A deeper look at your child’s reading for families who want to understand not only where their child is reading, but what the patterns I observe may mean for instruction.
This option includes an individualized reading assessment, analysis of the findings, a parent results conversation, individualized recommendations, and a written Reading Plan identifying priorities for next steps.
This may be a good fit if you’re wondering:
Why is my child struggling? What specific areas need attention? What should we be working on next? What information would be useful to share with school?
